Buried Tanks Are Treats, Not Tricks!

During this Halloween season, things that are buried can be spooky!

But what isn’t spooky at all is a buried underground propane tank!

Today’s propane tanks are safer than ever, constructed of heavy steel and are painted with a special coating to prevent corrosion. Environmentally friendly and requiring virtually no maintenance, a propane tank will typically last for 30 to 40 years.

The propane pros at New England Propane install a variety of tank sizes, depending on your needs:

  • Smaller 57-gallon tanks provide energy for appliances like clothes dryers and stoves.
  • 1,000+-gallon tanks can fuel very large homes with heat for the house, swimming pool and hot tub.
  • Generally, 500-gallon tanks easily accommodate an average four-bedroom home.

Of course, having a buried propane tank is nothing without propane to fill it!  New England Propane offers both automatic delivery and will-call propane delivery.

With automatic delivery, we’ll deliver your propane when you need it — no need to check your tank’s gauge and call for deliveries. Our special computer program tells us when we should deliver your propane based on the weather, your past usage, and tank size.

Some customers prefer to monitor their own tank levels and call us when they need a refill. For these “will-call” deliveries, we request that the office be notified at least five business days before you'd like your tank filled, which should be when the gauge on your tank reads between 40% and 50%.

Aren’t you glad to know there’s nothing scary about propane tanks and deliveries? Just total comfort and peace of mind! For further information, call New England Propane at your local number:
