Residential and Commercial

Whether it's for seasonal or year-round use, thousands of homes in our area trust New England Propane for pool, room and hot water heating ... and more. And hundreds of businesses - country clubs, swim clubs, golf clubs, barbeque cylinder filling stations, restaurants and more - count on us for reliable, economical, efficient propane.

We are also pleased to partner with local HVAC companies and plumbers to facilitate the installation of clean, green propane-fired equipment.

Automatic Delivery

Use this FREE service and leave the work to us! For predictable fuel applications such as home heating, hot water and cooking, there is no need to check your tank’s gauge under normal conditions as our advanced forecasting system will predict your fuel consumption and percent full based upon the average daily temperature since your last delivery, past usage and tank size.

Will-Call Deliveries

Some customers prefer to monitor their own tank levels and call us when they need a refill. For these 'will-call' deliveries we request that the office be notified at least five business days before you'd like your tank filled, which should be when the gauge on your tank reads between 40% and 50%. You call notify us via phone, email or from this site, however please always provide your tank percentage when requesting a delivery.

Emergency propane deliveries are typically available after hours, on weekends or on holidays but please be aware that non-scheduled deliveries are subject to an additional charge.

DO NOT RUN OUT OF PROPANE! If your propane tank is empty New England Propane is required by Fire Safety Code to perform a leak test (which you pay for) before we can fill your tank, which in most cases requires you to be home.

Lastly, keep in mind that if you choose to monitor your own tank that we cannot be responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of running out of propane. For that reason we strongly urge our customers to always be on automatic delivery, and leave the worrying to us!

GASCheck™ Safety Inspections

To ensure the safety of your propane gas system, New England Propane encourages you to schedule an appointment for GASCheck™.

Developed by the National Propane Gas Association, GASCheck™ is an important safety and preventive maintenance program for your propane system (including the tank and piping). Our propane pros continually receive GASCheck™ training, as new products and systems come on the market.

Your GASCheck™ takes about an hour, and we will provide you with printed materials regarding the safety of your propane system, which we recommend you read carefully.

To schedule your GASCheck™, please call or contact us.

Leak Tests

All too often, propane customers run out of gas when temperatures are the coldest. If your tank is out of gas, no matter what the reason, a leak test is required by law to test the integrity of your propane system’s plumbing and piping. If leakage is indicated, the gas supply needs to be shut off until the necessary repairs have been made. For more information on leak tests, click here.

How do you keep from running out of gas? Keep an eye on the tank gauge or have New England Propane place you on an automatic delivery schedule. Ask us about reading your propane tank gauge so you won’t run out of gas – we are happy to help.

Annual Safety Inspections and Leak Tests

CL_remoteTankMonitor.jpgOSHA regulates that all commercial propane tanks have an inspection every 12 months. We offer safety inspections at no charge to all our commercial customers.

Remote Tank Monitoring

New England Propane provides remote propane tank monitoring that eliminates guesswork and ensures you'll never run out of propane. When we install your new tank, we can install a remote propane tank monitoring system, which lets us customize your set point levels depending on your daily usage and delivers your propane tank level data. Not every comfort company out there offers this value-added service - it's one more way we go the extra mile to ensure your complete satisfaction.
